This adorable big boy is growing up!  In a few days he will be one!  But tonight he let me rock him to sleep for the first time in like forever... I love those moments!!!!

Boone Reunion

This weekend I got out of Phoenix and flew to Portland Oregon with my dad, brothers and sister.

It was my aunts 70th birthday and even though it was a small reunion it was so nice to get together with everybody.     Here are a few pictures... I did not take many because I forgot my camera so all I had was my phone.

My sister and I got a hotel room and this was the beautiful view from our window.  All night on saturday night we heard "Welcome to Jack in the box can I take your order?"  I was going to go crazy.

I do not have any pics of my aunt and cousins or my sister in law and nephew that I got to meet for the first time, but maybe if I get some I will do a pic post later.

Arlo is growing up... and by growing up I mean literally.

He has gotten so much taller lately.

It might just be that he is walking so I am always seeing him standing, instead of on the floor crawling.

But then, while I was looking at my boy I noticed...

Arlo no longer has his forearm fat roll!

What the???

Where did it go???

I miss it!!!!

Walking Video

Old Friends... New Clothes

A few weeks ago we were invited to dinner with two of Tim's old roommates.  We had a great time but Arlo had an even better time with one of his best friends... Caleb.  Caleb is Rob and Alexa's son who is 1 day older than Arlo.

Do not look too close because if you do you will see how naturally dark Caleb is and what a white boy Arlo is.... He has his daddy's complexion.

Once again I did not get a single picture with both boys looking at the same time.

This is the sweetest picture... Caleb was walking then, and Arlo wasn't so Arlo was hanging onto the chair mining his own business when Caleb came up behind him and gave him a hug and a kiss.  It was the cutest thing!!!!

On another note... Easter was last weekend and believe it or not I did not get any pictures.  But we did get Arlo a new Easter outfit!  It looks so cute and I do not care what anybody says because sweater vests are the CUTEST!!!!!!

Last but not least... Arlo is officially a walker!  He started walking in early March by taking 2-3 steps before falling.  Mid March he was taking 5-6 steps before falling.  Then towards the end of March he would walk if you made him but he figured it was too much work because he would rather crawl than walk.  Then on April 1st (Aunt Niki's B-day) Arlo finally made the transition from crawler to walker!  I am so proud of him.
