Back in June Arlo lost his bottom two teeth. I first noticed they were wiggly after a whole day of wondering why Arlo's mouth looked so weird. (It was like when someone gets off their braces and you know something is different, you just can't put your finger on it.) I finally told him to come to me so I could take a closer look and I had him say AHH. That is when I noticed his two bottom teeth were so loose, they were leaning in and it changed the whole look of his mouth. At first, Arlo was afraid he did not want to loose his teeth, then when we talked about how new, grown up teeth grew in and the tooth fairy came he went from scared to ecstatic in 1 second flat! But he did not want me to pull it, so Arlo and his dad started coming up with ways Arlo could pull out his own tooth. This is what won...
What you can't tell from the pictures and video is that he had to jump of the diving board 4 times to get it out! The first two times the floss slipped of the tooth. The 3rd time the floss slipped off the fence (Tim's fault:) and then it finally worked the 4th time.
This is his first note to the tooth fairy...
And this is the morning after:)
Here is bottom tooth number 2.
He never went through with slamming the door, but the floss was tied on so tight we could not get it off, so after a few hard pulls, Arlo pulled out his own tooth:)
2nd note to the tooth fairy.
Here is his toothless smile and his present from the tooth fairy, A tooth that had 3 'golden' dollars inside:)
Very proud of our tooth pulling boy!!!
